Your journey towards finding the right school for your child has led you to us, and we are happy that you are here.

I would love to tell you more about me and about my school Hosanna House Montessori.

Hosanna House Nursery endeavors to educate, nurture, train, foster and steer young minds in the right direction.

My name is Valerie-Joy-Salway Mogul, the Headmistress of Hosanna House Montessori. My Foray in the Field Of Education started in the year 1977. By 1979 I left India for East Africa, Kenya, where I began teaching little children. It was not long before I decided to make Montessori my preferred Medium of teaching. I was trained to be a Montessori Teacher from The London Montessori Centre and secured a Red Seal and a Gold Seal Certificate over a six year training program. Ever since, I have been teaching the Montessori Method. I opened my first school, Kinara Kindergarten in 1989, teaching young ones from 17 months to 5 years of age and equipping each child with the tools to be leaders and not followers. Between the years 1979 to 2002 when I was teaching the pure Montessori Method I had the honor of having in my school the children of the students I taught in the years before! I returned to India in 2002, as I wanted to give back to my country what it gave to me- My education, values, dedication, commitment and faith! I added IB to my curriculum from Ecole Mondiale World School, where I set up the ESL Program. So now I have upgraded my own expertise and field of experience, with the newest innovative Cambridge system that has entered the Educational Market. After over 30 years of teaching, I am putting together a conglomeration of selected teaching techniques I have been using successfully and am familiar with over the years, beginning with the Cognitive development analysis of Piaget and Seguin, The Sensorial Didactic Materials and Insights into the Child, by Maria Montessori. And finally resting on the sheer Genius and brilliance of James Gardner's discovery of 'Multiple Intelligence’. I have found a happy balance that I am going to implement in my latest venture, with my youngest daughter, Zasha Maria. To teach values and principles, to show how honesty pays rich dividends always, to enhance their lives with discovery that everything is possible, that “WORK IS WORSHIP”. To instill in our young ones the power of the spoken and the written word, so they would love to read and speak with wisdom and knowledge. To plant in their little hearts a desire to live their lives to their highest potential. To be a giver and a sharer; to think of others before themselves; and most of all to be the best that they can be.
